Aren't they a cute pair  , this was one of the free gift dies with the Tattered Lace magazine subsciption, as a lover of cats and dogs , it's a favourite of mine .

well it's been sun shine and showers , typical British summer , but this afternoon  the sun won and we did a bit of gardening , feeling achy now , my poor knees and fingers .

Baby Shower with fancy folds

 Afternoon crafting friends , hope you are all ok . The weather here is very changeable , the rain is keeping me indoors and crafting away , I not complaining though .
My hairdresser asked me to make some cards for her , the trend now is for baby showers , party before the baby is even born , this is a new thing to my generation , I think thiis has spilt over from the USA.

The picture above shows my card next to my husbands teddy money box , his Dad bought it for him when he was born , it's so cute and sits on the bedside table.

for my card I used
Hunkydory card for the base card and baby words , the silver foiling looks so lovely in real life .
Sue Wilson shadow box dies , new arrivals .
crafters companion dies, little angel , my first outfit .
The circle die with hearts is by sweet dixie and the other circle die is ,old stash ,make forgotten .
The fancy fold is made using a tattered lace tri fold card die

More Spun Sugar

These 3 cards are all made using the new Tattered Lace collection Spun sugar .

Sophia die by tatered lace and oval center of spun sugar frame . paper from a 12x12 pad seas the day from B&M.

 The green card is so summery , it features "Penelope " and "lavish floral", the background paper is printed from a tattered lace birthday inserts cd rom , I think the delicate morning glory flowers are such a good match . The green detailed frame is also TL and is called shabby offset square . I've used tiny pearls on the flowers and hat for my added bling  .

Spun Sugar

good afternoon crafters , once again I was tempted by a Tattered Lace collection , this was a late birthday present from my husband . It is so fabulous and pretty with beautiful images to match the dies .
My lavender card uses the Penelope die, the lavish floral  and the  sugar spun die with matching printed images and backing paper from the collection . The sentiment die is from crafters companion and I've added some silk leaves and perfect pearls.

my red card features the Sofia die from spun sugar collection , I've used papers from the works called pretty red classics . A bow and roses from hobby craft , some pearls and a tattered lace birthday sentiment , to finish the card.

Tattered Lace Christmas Art Deco collection and sizzix cute deer

Morning crafting friends , a beautiful sunny day here , to hot for making Christmas cards really !
I've made some cards featuring

Tattered Lace Christmas Art Deco collection. One die is called " not just for Christmas " , the other with the couple is called "winter romance " and the blue one "Christmas shopping " , I used the tattered lace art deco cd to create the background . All the images are coloured with pro and flex markers .

The woodland cards feature sizzix thinlit cute deer and papers from hobby craft .
