woodware stamps llama drama and succulents

Well all the Christmas cards are done , so what better than some bright fun cards !
I've used woodware clear stamp sets  llama drama and succulents. Coloured with promarkers , stamped with some memento inks and added some fun die cuts .

I have used groovi plates nested squares and extension alphabet and frame and Jayne Neskerenko Dahlia plates . I've coloured the back with promarkers The fancy edging die is from The Paper Boutique.
I'm pleased with this card , it looks prettier in real life , bad light for pictures) and it was quite easily made , no picot and fancy embossing , so a card you would happily send someone.

Tattered Lace Succulent Lantern

Better day today weather wise . I've not made a parchment card today ...shock
My card features a Tattered Lace die called succulent lantern , it was the die in issue 59 of the Tattered Lace magazine , as was the back ground paper . I cut it twice from the charisma and layered it with sticky pads . The other dies are Card Magic by Christina Griffith , part of the 5x7 card and box set.

Groovi Tina's Henna Corners 1

Another day (dull and windy) , another groovi plate card. I don't know why I decided to colour in orange and green , but I like the result . I'm going to send this to my Great Aunt , who is in her 90's , for her birthday in January.

I used Tina's Henna Corners 1 A4 plate , diagonal pattern groovi boarder grid , a nested squares extension and alphabet frame A4 plate ,and a semi circle pergamano needle tool and picot cut the edges.  I backed it on a peachy coloured card and secured with button brads. The glittery flower centre is micro beads .

made using groovi doodle wreath , Tina's layering plates (centre round) and circle scallop essentials and part of the Anne Queen lace plate. 

All Groovi , bed of roses and a bit of Christmas

There has been a fire at Chester Zoo today , I am a member and was going to go today with my son , we didn't because of the weather . It is very sad , the building that has burnt is fabulous , I just hope all animals , staff and visitors are fine . The latest news is all animals are safe , but it is filled with free flying birds so how they rescued them I don't know.

 More groovi cards . I'm just totally in love with parchment craft . I'm really pleased with how the lacy roses card has turned out , I will not be giving this away any time soon .
The pink card features Victoria lace plate and art nouveau bed of roses . I've coloured with promarkers , attached with six eyelets and embellished with gems. The corners are a Martha Stewart punch .

Groovi Board Hare In The Meadow

work on my root filling was completed yesterday . My mouth is still a bit sore but I'm sure it will calm down in a day or two.
My  card features Groovi Board Hare In The Meadow. Quite a simple parchment card , I fancied a change after all that grid work .

Groovi Plates Anne and Victoria lace frame patterns

These plates are a new concept for Clarity /Groovi , you can emboss and perforate on the same grid . No need to count holes . You do need to remember to do the 90 degree turn after you get half way across a row, I found out to my cost , not reading the instructions , that it doesn't work out symmetrical if you don't.

Victoria Plate

first emboss the pattern to the size you want , this one is small , you can go much bigger and also do rectangles , but don't forget to do a 90 degree turn half way along the row.

do the white work on the back , then turn to the front and do the perforating .

Then do the picot cutting . 

 This one features the Victoria frame in it's entirety, I have used part of the gladiolus plate for the centre, and coloured the back with promarkers .(all it needs now is making into a card or framing )

I'm having part 2 of a root canal filling today , feels a bit sore . This has been a welcome distraction. Hope it helps someone .

Clarity "Tina's Layering Plates "

I have used groovi boards Tina's layering plates , and straight embossing and piercing grid . Coloured the back with promarkers . The background is blended Tim Holtz distress inks , spritzed with water and perfect pearls powder mixed .

The image was traced from groovi plate "poppy wreath " onto blue parchment (bit of white work) and coloured on the back with promarkers , added  the wording , frame and square brads to attach .

Lawn Fawn "best pun ever "

Made this card for our son's  Grandparents , to give him for his 25th birthday . He loves a good pun , like me .
I used lawn fawn stamp and matching die set the best pun , coloured with promarkers .
The The colour splashes are a stamp set from altenew called a splash of colour , I used memento inks to stamp with . The bp is by Hunkydory.

In the Jungle

Not been in the Jungle today , but we did spend an hour at Chester Zoo , no tigers today but we did see 3 cheaters and 3 lions .  Bellow me on an old rickshaw in the islands zone of the zoo .

My card is a pyramarge , easel card , using Dolly Dimples In the jungle papers.
The die cut sentiments are from The Paper Boutique.
I have made it for our son's birthday , he is 25 ......wow that makes me feel old.

I coloured with promarkers on the back . This is for my friend who introduced me to parchment craft , about 3 months ago , I am hooked ! I didn't think I would bother with the white work and picot cutting at first , but I love it , so much so my finger tips are somewhat parched too . I now use the pergamano tweezer type snips , so worth the price .
