Valentots Love

I've got rid of that shopping sidekick plugin, thank goodness, don't ask me how , trial error , then luck....no more dates with Russian babes or buying an I phone... hurrah!

I bought this cute little stamp "valentots " ,   by art impressions just after Christmas , but was waiting for the right time to use it. I bought it from Sir Stampalot in the Winter sale.
I've coloured with pro and flex markers and added pink volume touch to the die cut, which is a memory box die, called honey blossom sprig,I have chopped it up and glued into three places.
I've added a checked brown ribbon bow, this was a tiny old piece I couldn't part with , the bow is made with a wire to tie and the tails added with glue dots, I then added a button from button basics in the center.
I've used a scalloped edge card from craftwork cards and rounded some of the corners with a woodware punch. The papers are bird song by  first edition.

cute card Thursday : a different corner

The weather here has improved, can see the sun today ,but it's so windy, and the wind is hitting the front of the house , namely where my craftroom is, so I'm perished especially my feet.
Had a horrid day yesterday with the pc driving me mad , my unemployed and very moody son being the swine he turns into and a grumpy old Alfie growling at me . Lucky I have my lovely husband Bob or I'd have run away.

keep cheerful and warm. janex

Mo's Poodle

I've had a high old time with my pc, the trouble was in google chrome  it's mostly sorted but I have picked up the most annoying shopping side kick in my extensions (virus) that I can not remove. Any advice would be welcome. Things like dates with Asian babes etc are popping up and horrid flashing adds that give me a headache!!!!

Is'nt this new image from Mo's digital pencil so adorable, having 2 toy poodles I had to have it. The actual digi stamp has just 1 poodle, but I played around in paintshop pro , copied another , flipped it , then pasted it over the other and erased the background, so it looks like 2 .
My mum has 2 silver poodles, one a bit lighter than the other, this card is defiantly for her.
I've coloured with pro and flex markers. The sentiment stamp is part of a set bought from a stamp fair. The papers are Docraft back to basic. The pearl swirls are from the Hobby House and the ribbon old stash.

 challenges entered :

love to create : anything goes with a sentiment
the paper players : followed the sketch above.
squirrel and the fox : something new (mines a new digi stamp)
sweet stampin : ribbon
Emma's craft challenge: animals

will try and catchup with you all. Happy crafting. janex

Uptown Girls " Isabelle loves her ice cream " 1 in pastel ,1 in Brights

I love the image but it was the sentment that sold it to me ....if only that was true.....
I've coloured the stamp " Isabelle loves her ice cream " by stamping bella, with pro and flex markers.
I've added glamour dust to the skirt and icecream cones. The icecream embellishment is a spellbinder diecut. The papers are first eddition "Spring Drop". The sticker corners are from Hobby craft.

The same stamp called in bright promarkers to match the yummy paper "sweet tooth " by Bo Bunny. I've added perfect pearls in blue and pink and stickles glitter to the icecreams.

Im having pc problems at the moment , well just google chrome , it will not work, uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I've got a headache so can't be doing with it. So no challenges entered , just thought I'd post some cards for you to see.
It snowed really heavy here last night for about 4 hours , it's still lying on the ground but it's all mushy. All the postmen in Ellesmere Port and surrounding area where give the day off. So many lorries and cars where stuck on the motorway last night, poor things, must have been horrid.

enjoy your weekend. janex

Up town girls " Felicity and Blair"

Stamping Bella's uptown girls stamp " Felicity and Blair living life". The image is so gorgeous I decided to go ease on the design and colours. Uptown Girls

I can't say I was ever mad on the  Stamping Bella stamps until "uptown girls", I have bought 4 of them from Tracy at dies to die for, always a great service and lovely how she adds extra goodies in the form of die cuts in your order. This stamp is called "Victoria and Juliette's night out" and comes mounted on cling and with the sentiment.
I've used pro and flex markers to colour the image and had real fun paper peicing the dresses with my minds eye "fine and dandy paper". I've added ectra dimention to the dresses with perfect pearls in mint green and bronze stickles. A few star gems and a big organsa bow complete the glam look.

challenges entered:

Simon Says Stamp : paper piece it
fab and funky : favourite colour combination (love these colours and have them in our bedroom and hall.)
sweet sketch Wednesday : followed the sketch above
Papertake weekly : tie up your loose ends (use ribbon)

The snow has stopped here and is melting away, can't say I'm sorry.
Went to the folk/music club in Port Sunlight , Wirral, last night, great night and an old man at the ripe old age of 89 , it was his birthday that day, got up and sang 2 songs and was amazing , a real character with a real young at heart attitude, hats off to him.
happy crafting. janex

An Icy Bath

The just inklined cd that I used for this card is so packed with great images it's easy to miss them, I saw this image on Pauline's blog.I loved her gorgeous Christmas card, well I adore all her creations . I love Robbins even though I'm scared of them, wether it's on cards or in real life. We have a bird bath in the garden that the robins visit. Only one at a time though, in real life 3 would never bathe together they are such dominant little birds.
The lovely denim effect paper is from Hot off the press, issue 49 of creative cardmaking mag, as is the sentiment. I've decoupaged the image using pinflair and added German Glitter glass for a really frosty/snowy effect.

challenges entered :

Tuesday Alchemy : Winter Wonder
Tip Top : luscious layers
cd Sunday : for ever in blue jeans ( I used denim effect paper)
creative inspiration : anything goes
glitter and sparkle : must have a sentiment
chocolate, coffee and cards : for the birds

Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Thought it was about time I did a seasonal card, with all this snow around . It snowed a lot here this morning and is still snowing ,but it's fine snow now and not sticking.....must amend that , it's heavy again now.
When we came back from shopping ,the car skidded  as we turned into the drive, lucky nothing was in the way. To be honest I'm sick of it now because the sky is so dull and grey, it looks really pretty at first and then it looks patchy and mucky coloured.

I used a image from my best of just inklined cd, this one is a Christmas image  I had preciously over looked, must say I love it , nice for a Winter Anniversary I think. The papers are hot of the press, and are in creative cardmaking mag issue 49, I got this mag for half price yesterday, I love a bargin and the winter and floral papers inside are gorgeous. I've coloured with pro and flex markers and added some glue covered with glamour dust for the snow effect.

challenges entered :

Sweet Sunday sketch challenge : followed the sketch above

crafty sentiments : Winter Fun
papertake weekly : baby it's cold outside
