Poppys and Butterflies

It's a few days since my last post and I've not visited my friends ,sorry, but I'm having a worse time than usual. My thyroid levels are all over the place ,my tummy is behaving worse than ever and I could sleep for England.Glad the weather has improved I get so cold in my hands and feet they go numb and I shake with cold in bed with my teeth chattering, the electric blanket is often switched on in June. My hubby , who is always hot ,has had a few days of work and has been a great help,I don't think men as a whole are natural carers and nurturers but mine does try and I must be a pain at times.
On a brighter note ,my cards, using a lovely poppy stamp by Hero Arts called delicate blossoms. I've coloured both cards with pro markers.
The first card has a backing paper from a "messy rabbit " cd by Joanna Sheen,a die cut border edge die, spellbinders Parisian ascents,a strip of silver peel off ,a chip board butterfly (mag free bee) and a few red gems.
The second card has paper by K&Co ,linen closet, a red satin ribbon (local craft shop) and a gorgeous red fabric butterfly (sent by my Dad from Thailand).
Challenges entered:
craft your passion: red, white and blue
Sarah Hurley: Die cuts
The crazy challenge: use a die cut or punch
Totally Papercrafts: ribbons or bows
Allsorts : anything goes

If you are not very well at the moment or having a sad time I feel for you and know how it is. I always think it's lucky we have our rewarding crafting hobby and some lovely blogging encouragement.
Take care .janex

So sorry you are under the weather a bit Jane, I know from personal experience that when the thyroid level play up you can feel really rotten.

But you have created a gorgeous card with this fab Hero stamp, it's one of my favs and I often use it in class.

Thank you for sharing with us at Allsorts this week, good luck and hope you will join us again.
