Tilda USA Bound

I've recently been commissioned to make several cards, this being one of them. It's for a girl heading to the USA to work for 6 months. The only briefing I got was America and a flag. Put my old brain cells into action and came up with this.
The image is Tilda with lace flag, from the bon voyage collection,as is the sentiment. I coloured her in bold promarkers in the American colours and removed the lace flag and put the star spangled banner in it's place. The flag and the red white and red sticker center are from an old scrap booking set I bought from QVC eons ago.The red dotty card is from pinflair.

challenges entered:

magnolia inspiration : any thing goes
creative inspirations : trooping the colour ,red ,white and blue
anything goes : around the world travel

back to rain here, well never mind another craft day. janex

Hi Jane

You have met your brief perfectly with this beauty!! I wouldn't have known where to start!!!

Very bright and beautiful!

I have just read your previous post too. That sounds like an awful lot of land to to taming!!! You could do with a little arm to help get it initially sorted and then have the job of keeping on top of it.

I don't think anyone appreciates the hard work that goes into having a beautiful garden (unless you are a fellow gardener of course).

Take care and don't over do it!!

Love Jules xx
