Snow Covered City

I don't think I have ever loved ,or used  so much , a crafting cd as much a the just inklined and La pashe double cd set. I can highly recomend them.
This gorgeous Christmas image from the La pashe cd just reminded me of Chester, not far from us , and I thought it would make a really special Christmas card for my hubby's parents. My in laws live a few miles from Chester.
I printed the image, decoupaged and glittered with glamor dust. The card is an 8x8 from craftwork cards. I cut a square in the centre  covered the front in docraft vintage Christmas paper , with the edges inked with tim holtz ink, added gold peeloffs and placed the scene inside the card.

challenges entered :

crafty Hazelnuts Christmas challenge : for someone special
one stop craft challenge : vintage Christmas
allsorts : bring on the bling (lots of glamor dust used not easy to see in the pictures)
Bearly mine : snowflakes

Not been feeling too good this week ,bad tummy , story of my life. Least with crafting you can sit down.
Hope you have a good weekend. No snow here but it was very cold and frost here this morning.
Happy Crafting.janex

You certainly a great advert for the CD Jane because you've made some gorgeous cards with it.

The Christmas roses on this one frame the image beautifully.

Thanks so much for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge this week.

Have a lovely weekend.

This is gorgeous Jane. I love the way you have cut out the aperture and framed the scene with the mistletoe stamp. To my shame I haven't made anything with these CD's yet - and I was so impatient waiting for them to arrive.
Hope your tummy gets better soon.

This is beautiful Jane, you're not gong to believe this but I've just printed and cut out the decoupage to make this card. I have a table at a Craft Sale on Saturday and thought these would be ideal Christmas cards to sell.
