Have a hoot with your free stamps

I like card mags and often buy them for the free gifts, in Papercraft essentials this month is 2 free gifts , a great set of woodware stamps featuring owls and a set of pretty papers.

I've used them on both my cards , pink for a girl and blue for a boy. The blue one is for a 17 year old called David, hope he likes it.

On the pink card I used 2 spellbinder nestie dies and a Martha Stewart punch and a woodware punch for the sentiment. Inked the edges with brown chalk ink and added a pretty flowery ribbon from Hobby Craft.

On the blue card I.  used 2 nestie circle dies, a fern punch and a woodware punch , plus blue bakers twine and a wooden bird embellishment coloured with promarkers.

challenges entered :

Allsorts : use dies and punches
crafts 4 eternity : punch it
simply create too : anything goes
Fairy Tale : my newest stamp (I bought this yesterday)

Hope your all enjoying the snow, we had a great time this morning with the poodles. They love the snow and charged all over the snowy golf course. Because it's so exposed there , the snow is always deeper and lasts awhile, that will keep those pesky golfers off!
Saw a man get out of his car dressed only in shorts and tee-shirt, there was also a bloke in just a tee- shirt when the reporter was doing a weather report in a very snowy area....is it me or are they total plonkers !

stay warm and happy crafting. janex

These are both lovely Jane, that free stamp is cute.
We have a good 6 inches of snow here and a snow plough just went down the road, that's a first and bearing in mind we live in a town I think the council has done a pretty good job!
Keep safe and warm.

They're definitely plonkers! I wonder ho much they wear when it's hot - probably best not knowing.
The stamps and papers were a great freebie with the magazine and your cards are lovely.
