Tattered Lace magazine subscription dies

Hello crafting friends , hope you had a great Christmas and got lots of crafty goodies . My hubby got me the Tattered Lace magazine subscription  (yes I did ask for it ,he's not that good! ), with it comes lots of gorgeous free dies and I have used them to make this card . The lovely lady is called Dolly and I've coloured her with pro markers . To the panel die I've coloured the flowers with promakers then  over layered in blue glitter card and used the glitter card for the frame, sentiment  and ivy die cuts ...well it is still Christmas and we all love a bit of sparkle. I've managed to photograph outside , It's a glorious sunny day but very very cold and frosty , great for catching the sparkle on glitter card.

Baby Fawn by Tattered Lace

Hi there crafting friends , into December now , my decorations are up and all the Christmas cards made , so I thought I'd dig out a Tattered lace magazine that I bought at hobby craft . The gorgeous paper scene was in the mag and the baby fawn die was the gift on the front ...so cute .
I cut the die several times in cream card , layered accordingly and coloured with promarkers, and a white gel pen and black fine liner  .
The bulrushes die is a Marianne design  die , the others are Joanna Sheen signature flower dies .
The sentiment is a clearly besotted stamp .

From the heart of the garden

 Hello crafting friends , it's been mighty cold here today , -6 in the garden this morning , I made sure I defrosted the bird bath and left plenty of food for the birds , then when I looked again about half an hour later , feathers everywhere , cat must have pounced on a wood pigeon , sure it was ok though

My card has been made using a Joanna Sheen cd , Jane Shasky ,from the heart of the garden , it is my all time favourite. I've mounted on gold mirri card .This Christmas card is for a man an I think it has a masculine look . The sentiment reads "to a special friend at Christmas " this is from hunkydory , it looks great on the card but doesn't photograph well.
The pine branch die is from tattered lace , perfect match I think , cut from white card and coloured with promarkers . I've added tartan ribbon and some stickles glitter to all the branches  .

Pop Up Box for a 50th

I've been asked to make a card for a friend of ours by his Mum (also a friend of ours ) , it is for his 50th Birthday . He is music mad and loves a pint of real ale , so I guess this card ticks the boxes
We are all going to surprise him tomorrow in a restaurant , for a meal and drinks .
I cut the pop up box card using a tattered lace die , so much easier than all that measuring . The music related elements are stamped from a set with creative stamping magazine issue 31 .I cut them out, using a spellbinders circle die for the records  and coloured them with promarkers . The man with the pint is a clear stamp I have had in my stash for years , I'm sorry I can not find the make. The musical notes are a punch and the lace musical score I bought at a stamp fair . I've added a few black peel offs .
It's a very personal card and making it was a labour of love , I hope Mum and Son like it and our friend has a wonderful 50th .

Penny Black " carolers "

My card features a Penny Black stamp called carolers , those singing chickens make me smile . I've coloured them with promarkers and added stickles on the snow . My photos lately are poor , I can't get to grips with my new camera . The lamp post die is by first edition , part of a set , I've added glittery green ribbon , a holly embellishment and 2 bells . The sentiment is really old stash and the paper is graphic 45 . The outer edge in gold is done with a pilot marker , a trick of mine that saves using gold card .
The insert is nitwits Christmas .

Hunkydory snowy season Christmas Delight

It's pretty cold today , feeling a bit more like Autumn , the falling leaves are like a beautiful carpet , sad to think the trees will soon be bare . That is why I like Christmas decorations , festive lights on the darkest days .
My card is made using Hunkydory snowy season Christmas Delight. I was terrible to photograph , and looks much better in real life . I die cut a window through the front of the card ,using a memory box die , I used Hunkydory snowy assetate and a do craft chalk pen for a winter effect , The inside features a snowy garden and through the window you can see the little robin perched on the spade . The tree die is from crafters companion , I've decorated it with coloured gems and a red bow from hobby craft. The ivy around the window is a Marianne die and the holly die is from tattered lace.

Hunkydory Snowy Season , Robin Redbreast

My card features Hunkydory Snowy Season , Robin Redbreast. Who doesn't love the sight of a pretty robin , they always look especially nice on Christmas cards , my robin cards are usually the first to sell . My hubby says this is a really cute fat one .
The card is a 7x7 , I'm into largish cards at the moment .The diecut holly is by tattered lace . I've added a red bow and the insert (good match me thinks ) is a my craft studio cd , I use these all the time now .

Hunkydory , Festive Elegance, "Winterland Walk "

My cards feature Hunkydory , Festive Elegance, "Winterland Walk " I've added ribbon , glittered chipboard shapes from Hobbycraft  and red gems and added stickles glitter (not easy to see in the photos ). The large square one is for my husband this Christmas . 

I bought the whole 2016 Christmas craftinator from Hunkydory , it is wow .

Hunkydory Precious Wings

Afternoon crafting friends . Rain here this morning and now a glorious sunny day , even took my photographs outside !

My cards feature the  Hunkydory kit "precious wings " it was the free members gift with create and craft, all you pay is £2.99 post and package if your a member . It is simply gorgeous , a pleasure to craft with . All I've added are a selection of tattered lace dies , some adorable scorable card and a few gems.

Tattered Lace Christening Dies

Afternoon crafting friends . Two cards to show you today , very similar , one for a boy , one for a girl . I've used the pram in the new tattered lace Christening collection , so pretty ,I cut 3 diffent colours for each then snipped and layered accordingly .  Just added a few pearls and gems to finish  .
The banner is by La la land crafts and the word die has slipped my mind , sorry .

Tiny's Swans Marianne Design

Happy Sunday crafting friends , hope your having a good one , I'm feeling a little better than I was , bad tummy pains .
 I've really enjoyed making this card , and I think it's a bit special , and the person I have in mind to send to is rather special too.
The background paer is a 12x12 glitter velum by docraft called Spring Floral . I ordered about 20 sheets a good while ago , and have used it many times for wedding cards.
I've used mainly Marianne design products , image Swans 2 , Tiny's Swans die , Petra's bridge , Bullrushes (or cattails as the Dutch call them ), Petra's waterlilly.
The other dies are tattered lace mini dies . The sentiment is craftwork cards.
I was given the runaround with the signets , they kept disappearing in my mess craft room. Now one is getting a ride on Mum's back and the other is hiding behind the waterlilly.

Purrfect Paws

Penny Black Winter Friends

I don;t know about you , but I could make Christmas cards all day . These are some "cute" cards I've made using Penny Black transparent stamps called Winter friends . I've coloured them with promarkers and cut them out . I used red cards , I got 50 cards and envelopes for 2.99 in the sales . The papers are from Kaisar craft . The holly is a die from tattered lace and the glitter snowflakes are from Hobby craft .

Nitwits OOh La La

What lovely weather we are having here in NW England , too hot to craft really , the afternoon sun turns my craft room into an oven .
After visiting Pauline's blog , I had to have the new Nitwit digi papers called Ooh La La, they have poodles so it was a must have . This card features the beautiful papers. The outer die is Tonic Venetian lace , it is a large die collection containing 11 dies , this is the biggest  7.5" square , I do like to make big cards lately . The butterflies use to dies , the inner 2 are a free gift with a carft mag , the outer one was a bargin buy for a £1 at a craft fair , it's by Do craft. The pearl trim used for the butterfly body is from crabapple crafts .

Marianne Design Merry Christmas

Morning crafting friends , it seems funny posting a Christmas card on such a glorious sunny day , we in NW England are having beautiful weather , but I figure if you start early by December your cards are made with out any rush .
