Spun Sugar

good afternoon crafters , once again I was tempted by a Tattered Lace collection , this was a late birthday present from my husband . It is so fabulous and pretty with beautiful images to match the dies .
My lavender card uses the Penelope die, the lavish floral  and the  sugar spun die with matching printed images and backing paper from the collection . The sentiment die is from crafters companion and I've added some silk leaves and perfect pearls.

my red card features the Sofia die from spun sugar collection , I've used papers from the works called pretty red classics . A bow and roses from hobby craft , some pearls and a tattered lace birthday sentiment , to finish the card.

Tattered Lace Christmas Art Deco collection and sizzix cute deer

Morning crafting friends , a beautiful sunny day here , to hot for making Christmas cards really !
I've made some cards featuring

Tattered Lace Christmas Art Deco collection. One die is called " not just for Christmas " , the other with the couple is called "winter romance " and the blue one "Christmas shopping " , I used the tattered lace art deco cd to create the background . All the images are coloured with pro and flex markers .

The woodland cards feature sizzix thinlit cute deer and papers from hobby craft .

Tattered Lace Art Deco Christmas

Back from a wonderful holiday in Menorca , with my Husband and my Dad , turned 50 whilst we where there . Nice to be back , I miss the sun , beautiful views and swimming in the salt water pool , but now I have my craft room back . The picture below was taken on my 50th Birthday , with my Husband Bob .


 I treated my self , with some birthday money , to the Tattered Lace Christmas Art Deco collection . It contains wonderful people dies and 2 co ordinating paper pads , they where used to make my card .
The TL die used is called Art Deco not just for Christmas (which of course doggies are for life )
I coloured my die cut with pro and flex makers .
The happy Christmas die sentiment is by first edition .
Background scene tattered lace and star paper verity rose , crafters companion.
I added 2 bows coloured with pro marker , touch of glitter and white gel pen .
Such a girlie card and such fun to make .

Unity , in the garden

Not so lovely in the garden today , more rain , so glad we are going to Minorca next week . Our country would be so much better with a warmer climate .
In my card the sun is always shining and the blossom is beautiful on the branches .
I've used Tattered lace Unity die (don't know why it's called that ) , coloured with promarkers and highlighted with a white gel pen and a black micron pen .  The sky background is a TL download . The blossom die was part of the shabby offset collection . The lovely die is from a set by first edition called modern sentiments . The grass is a lawn fawn die . The little butterfly also TL. The wooden fence effect paper , a £3 12x12 paper pad from the Works called Rustic Atmosphere .

My head is still buzzing with election results, good results for Labour in the North West , wish everywhere felt the same . Where I live we have an excellent MP Justin Madders .
My card today is very girly and just right for a dog lover , walking your dog hail, rain or shine.

Christmas in June

 Happy Saturday crafting friends , a card I've not made a lot of lately , Christmas and an easel card .
I used a Marianne design die ,LR)327, inking and embossing the white card . The silver ivy leaves die is also a Marianne die . The image and sentiment are from Hunkydory , the flowers are from my local cake decorating shop and the pearls and gems hobby craft.
Just showed my hubby this card and he said wow, some husbands would think I was mad making Christmas cards in June but mines used to this crafting lark now .

First Edition Tropical Dies, Summer

Hi crafty people , nice summery card today even though the weather is changing for the worse . I've been tring out my holiday wardrobe , off to Menorca in a few weeks , can't wait !

For my card I used first edition die set , tropical , the sea gull is from sizzix my life nautical die set , the sun die is from Lawn fawn , the sand island is from mft , the squares Sue Wilson and lastly the sentiment is from lawn fawn .
