The colours of autumn

Autumn is such a beautiful season for colours , the leaves changing and some lovely autumn flowers is the garden , my favourite plant is sedum , with its many varied colours , always a welcome Autumn sight.

My card today uses another tattered lace die , yes I am addicted to them . I've used the charisma country meadow and used the matching images from the mcs cd rom . We may think of roses as being summer plants but many happily flower in autumn . The sentiment with matching dies is from Just Right ,friend antique labels one.

still achy today , but not as bad , sore throat too , must be a cold as my hubby is feeling the same and he is off work , most unlike him . I'm having a quiet day spent mostly in my craftroom as my Tattered lace subscription magazine has just been delivered   , so not all bad.

Special Day

Hello crafting friends , I'm feeling very achy today , we had family to dinner yesterday , it was lovely but I pay the price the next day .

My card today features some of  my latest craft purchases , The circle die and beautiful florals are from tattered lace and they are called "charisma country garden " , the dies match the cd used "countryside collection from my craft studio . The outer square die is a Sue Wilson die I use all the time . The sentiment die is by crafters companion .

Wilma with rose

Afternoon crafter's , hope your well . Today I've got a real cutie to show you . One of my old Magnolia stamps , Wilma with rose , she reminds me of a young version of my very old toy poodle Hudson .
The papers are from a 12x12 pad from the Works , called pretty red classics, a bargain at £3 for 24 , double sided sheets , they are excellent quality too .
My die cut sentiment is from first edition . The fancy border die is from spellbinders and the heart circle is from sweet dixie .
I've used gold mirri card and coloured stamp in with promarkers . I stamped the image with rich cocoa memento ink .

well the winds forecast here last night where not too bad , I feel so sorry for the people in other countries suffering terrible weather , people losing their homes and even their lives . My son showed us a clip from sky news , a ladies home had been destroyed , all her possessions gone and then suddenly her little dog appeared out of the rubble , she was over joyed and said one of her prayers had been answered .

A Scottish Wedding

I was commissioned by a friend to make this Wedding card  for her step son . They are getting married in a castle like building in Scotland and the flower are to be lilac , so this is what I came up with .

I used tattered lace couple church scene bride and groom die set. I coloured them in promarkers with the relevant hair colours . The outer fancy square die is from Tonic . The sentiment is tattered lace . The flowers and embellishments old stash , maybe hobby craft . I've added stickles to the brides dress and veil and on the roses. The back of the card is covered with glittered velum from do craft. In order to see the proper glitter effect , view a close up .
